Former Dallas star Charlene Tilton has said that her Dancing on Ice exit came just in time to prevent her needing shoulder surgery. The actress, 53, who was voted off on Sunday, said: “The timing is perfect. I don’t think it would have lasted another week. “I can’t even carry my purse or open a door, it hurts so much.
“It needs a chance to heal without surgery. “At the end of the day, staying in another week, is it worth going on an operating table for?” Charlene said the pain had become so bad that she wanted to quit. “I wanted to stop every day,” she admitted. But she also claimed to have loved her time on the hit ITV1 show. She said: “It’s been such a blessing for me, mentally, physically. I’ve met the most wonderful people.”
