Nancy, who is dating James Petrie, head chef at Heston Blumenthal's development kitchen, has claimed that she is in talks to be granted her own TV show in the near future. The 50-year-old glamourpuss will perform a rumba with Anton Du Beke to Lulu song Spooky on tomorrow's Strictly Come Dancing as part of the series' Halloween-themed show.
And while her performances on Strictly have so far failed to impress the judges, the experience clearly hasn't put Dell'Olio off TV. Speaking to Graham Norton for his Friday-night show, Nancy revealed her plans for her own series: 'My life is quite busy with a few things - I'm writing two books and I am preparing my TV show.'
When pressed for details, Nancy refused to be drawn on the ins and outs of the new programme, telling Graham: 'I'm probably doing it, but I am not going to say more.'As for her time on Strictly, Nancy admitted that she isn't the world's best dancer, but remained upbeat about her chances of winning: 'My public says whether I win or not but I probably am not a great dancer. 'It's a very intense, full-on experience, but I love it.'Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow at 6.30pm on BBC1.
