Maksim & Karina Dancing Over to the EmmysA source exclusively reveals that the husband-and-wife-to-be (they got engaged on New Year's Eve) will be performing during the big awards show Sept. 20. I know exactly what they'll be doing, but I think I'm gonna hold off on telling ya too much so you can be surprised. I promise, however, it's going to be fun.

The two have already shown us what kind of fancy footwork they could get themselves into...
Karina and Maksim performed together two years ago at the ALMA Awards and most recently did a stint starring on Broadway in the Latin and ballroom dance show Burn the Floor.

Dancing with Winner Ruben and Judge Lisa Ann Walter of Dance Your Ass Off

After ten weeks of dancing his ass off on the Oxygen airwaves, Ruben walked away many pounds lighter as the winner of Dance Your Ass Off, which also earned Ruben a check for $100,000. Although Ruben's wallet has gotten heavier, the Dance Your Ass Off champ is still maintaining his new weight as he looks forward to the September 7 Dance Your Ass Off reunion show on Oxygen. A day after Ruben was crowned the winner, we caught up with Dance Your Ass Off judge Lisa Ann Walter who joined Ruben on a conference call where we managed a few minutes of soft shoe speak with the two Dance Your Ass of celebrities.
THE DEADBOLT: Congratulations, Ruben.

RUBEN: Thank you very, very much. I'm very excited.

THE DEADBOLT: Aside from having a bigger bank account, how has the show changed your life?

Dancing with Winner Ruben and Judge Lisa Ann Walter of Dance Your Ass OffRUBEN: It seems very corny to think about [how] you're going to do this reality TV show and it's more than reality TV. It did change my life. I think it changed every contestant who got on the show even if they left after one week. I could see it in Angela. I could see it in Pinky who was there until the end. I was the oldest contestant on there by at least eleven years. Brandon was half my age and I knew I would never get a chance like this ever again. When I went in there, the very first day I had fully committed to what was going to happen, because I knew they were there for us to have trainers. You know, you just don't get to stop your life. I live a very busy, hectic life like most Americans do. I stopped for ten weeks and it just worked. And you know what is living proof? I left the show and it's all working. It really is working.

Derek Hough Dancing Partner Needs to Loosen UpThere's at least one person out there who thinks politico Tom DeLay has an actual chance of going far in Dancing With the Stars. "Some people who you think are going to do great, you see them and you think, 'Wow, they're not as good as I thought,'" professional hoofer Derek Hough says. "Or some people like Tom DeLay, might come out here and rock everyone's world."

Oh, really? Read on for Hough's explanation...

"I met [DeLay] the other day and he has so much charisma," Hough said. "He's just this lively guy. Sometimes that alone can do wonders for you."Hough says his celeb partner, Polish-born model Joanna Krupa, is concerned folks have the wrong impression of her because of the not-so-nice run-ins she had with football star Terrell Owens on the reality show The Superstars. "She's all worried that people are going to think she's a big bitch," Hough said. "But for me, she's not at all. She's very very sweet."
Their first dance will be a salsa. "The models always kind of have that stiff thing going on and not being able to loosen up," Hough said. "But she's working it out and doing good.

Hough will also make his singing debut on DWTS with best friend and fellow hoofer Mark Ballas.
