Poor ticket sales have led to the cancellation of the Dancing with the Stars Live stage show. The show, under licence from BBC Worldwide, was to be held at the Vector Arena in Auckland on Friday August 27. Norm Hewitt, Beatrice Faumuina, Lorraine Downes, Suzanne Paul.

Shane Cortese and Tamati Coffey had agreed to appear live in the stage show after their success in the television event . Some were reluctant to step out again after a long break from competing in the series but most said they had kept up an interest in dancing.

Musictank has apologised to fans who have purchased tickets and for any inconvenience caused. Refunds are available from the original point of purchase. Tickets purchased via phone or online will be automatically refunded to the original credit card.
