The Dancing with the Stars 2010 Top 8 Performances were last night, and tonight we learned the results of America’s votes. As we knew already, Alex Wong was in the bottom 3 automatically because he was injured and could not compete.

Billy was first revealed to be joining Alex in the bottom 3. Adam thought it was not about his dancing, it was about something else. Maybe a lot of animal lovers that didn’t like his jaguar?

Lauren was safe, and so was Kent and the whole Miami Valley region of Ohio breathed a big sigh of relief. Kent and Lauren obviously have a showmance going on!

Jose was safe, Robert was safe (in spite of his quickstep) and it came down to Ashley and Adechike. Ashley was in the bottom three and Adechike was safe! First to dance for his life was Billy, and as always his solo was superb! As the judges have consistently said, Billy’s solos are pure genius.

Then Ashley danced and it was really good also! How will the judges decide! It turns out that Alex requires surgery to reattach his Achilles tendon and a three month rest. Therefore the judges opted to cut him. This totally sucks!  Nigel said Alex is invited back next year. Can’t wait!
